Today we headed out to the field and found out how much a granit boulder weighed. While we were leaning about soil we dug a hole and planted bob the log. We learned about the layers of the earth and played a game where we were the different kakerlakensalat layers and used an orange to represent the earth and then we ate it. We also learned about the three different types of rocks and two types of igneous rocks. We talked about glaciers and how the lake was formed.
