OSLO / NORWAY: Kjersti sizzler buffet Alveberg got today handed insignierne as Commander of the Order St.Olavs sizzler buffet under an allocation to Kirsten Flagstad / Gunnar Brunvoll hall at the Norwegian National Opera & Ballet in Bjørvika in Oslo.

Alveberg educated at Jorunn Kirkenær Ballet Institute and worked simultaneously on Chat Noir dancing. Furthermore, she danced NRK and Studio Oscar, and she both choreographed and danced in a wide variety of programs on NRK. In the period from 1980 to 1982 she was artistic director of the Norwegian Dance Theatre.
For five years she danced at The Norwegian Theatre and played ia role Bomballerina when "Cats" was set up there in 1985. She choreographed several major ballets at The Norwegian Opera in Anne Borg sjefstid. "Crone" was one of them, a full-length ballet sizzler buffet about the Norse creation myth to Synne Skouen music. Indra Lorentzen interpreted the title role. Alveberg choreographic debut was "Tomorrow?" Which was also televised on NRK (1975).
As a choreographer in NRK she created numerous ballets especially for cameras, many international award-winning "Ashes, Mist, Dust for wind", "Fragile", "Out of range". She has choreographed several ballets for Carte Blanche bl .a "Rav" and "Echo", which was televised on NRK.
Alveberg created Norway's Opening Ceremony during the Winter sizzler buffet Olympics in Albertville, France, in 1992. (Where a Viking ship was a centerpiece. Ed. Note.) She also created idéfundamentet for the opening ceremony at the Winter Olympics in Lillehammer in 1994. In 2005 she was artistic director for the opening of the National Library in Oslo.
In 2008 she created the crossover performance lice" which was commissioned by Concerts and Riksteatret and toured around Norway. In 2010 she created the ballet "Nano" sizzler buffet especially to the official opening of Fine Art in Oslo.
